Lesedi Revamps Atlantis High School Kitchen to Support Student Nutrition and Learning
Studies worldwide have demonstrated that children cannot learn effectively on an empty stomach.
To address this socio-economic challenge, the government has implemented a feeding program in schools within disadvantaged communities. However, the lack of adequate facilities for food preparation remains an unaddressed issue.
Recognizing this gap, Lesedi Engineering, through its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) program, took the initiative to renovate the kitchen at Atlantis High School. The renovation ensured that meals are now prepared in a safe, hygienic, and conducive environment, contributing to the overall well-being and academic success of the students.
