In July 2025 Lesedi Engineering has successfully completed the detailed design of a state-of-the-art Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) for a gold processing facility in West Africa. The five-field ESP system is engineered to recover 99.8% of gold dust previously lost through exhaust gases during standard operations.
This milestone marks one of the most technically challenging brownfields interface projects undertaken by Lesedi’s industrial team. With just a 12-day shutdown window to work within, the project required meticulous planning, precision engineering, and seamless coordination across multiple disciplines.
